A wholesome breakfast treat

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups chopped Sweet Energy Medjool Dates
2 1/4 cups Rolled oats, regular
1 cup chopped Sweet Energy Roasted Almonds, Sweet Energy Walnuts
5/8 cup nonfat fry milk*
1 1/8 cup Honey
7/8 cup butter
6 1/2 Tbs. Brown sugar
1 Tbsp & 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Salt

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, dates, nuts and nonfat dry milk
2. In saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar. Add honey, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mix until well combined.
3. Add honey to mixture to oat mixture. Mix until well blended
4. Spread evenly on full sheet pan
5. Bake at 300 degrees fahrenheit for 35 to 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Should be crunchy and golden brown.
DO NOT make in a convection oven.

Note: If instant Nonfat Dried Milk is available, use 1-1/4 cups.

Yield: 50 servings: 1 sheet pan.
